Albany Free Basketball Clinics
Program Info:
We are excited to launch a free Youth Basketball Clinic on Sunday October 13th, 2024
We will have 4 different sessions for youth boys and girls in grade 1 – 8.
Coaching Staff: Bay City East Bay Staff & Albany High School Varsity coaches and players
Location: Albany High School – 603 Key Route Blvd, Albany, CA (Entrance on Thousand Oaks)
Clinic Schedule:
9:00am – 10:15 AM : (1 hour 15 minutes)
1) 1st / 2nd grade girls (lowered hoops) – (includes 3rd grade girls who prefer lowered hoop)
2) 1st / 2nd grade boys (lowered hoops)
10:30am – 12:00 PM
Girls 3rd – 8th (full gym)
This session will be led by Missy Park (Girls Head Varsity Coach at Albany HS)
12:00 – 1:30 PM
1) 3rd /4th boy (Full gym)
1:30 – 3:00 PM
1) 5th/6th boys
2) 7th/8th boys
2) 7th/8th boys
This session will be led by Bill Treseler (Boys Head Varsity Coach at Albany HS)
Sessions will include:
1) Skill Work: Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Defense, Rebounding, Ball Handling, and Basic Attack Move.
2) Footwork, Defensive Slides, Sprints, Change of Speed, Change of Direction, Agility, Speed, Conditioning.
3) Live scrimmages
