(You do not have to be part of our AAU team program to participate in the Sunday workout program)
The NEW Albany Sunday Workouts program will be led by Bay City Basketball Director and Camps and Clinics Rich Robinson and Albany High School Assistant Coach Avri Finch.
Coach Rich directors our camps and clinics program for San Francisco and the East Bay and Coach Avri is a Bay City alumni and former Albany High School standout who was a 4 year starter at UC Santa Cruz.
Our coaching staff will challenge and mentor players using positive reinforcement and build a basketball foundation to help kids take their game to the next level.
Sunday Workouts will focus on individual ball handling, shooting form, footwork, conditioning and fundamentals through various drills and stations. We will also teach offensive and defensive team concepts and learn to play team basketball.
In the 1st-2nd grade session, we will teach game rules, positions on the court and the terminology young players need to know to be successful on a basketball team.
The Sunday Workout program is 50% skills and drills (fundamentals) and 50% organized scrimmage and playing games.
Space is limited and available on a first come first serve basis.
